Here is another short clip of Caydence riding her bike. This one I took with my camera not the phone so it is a little clearer. She had so much fun! Even Josh was feeling a little better today and went out to watch her ride. Caydence and I probably spent a good hour or more riding up and down the sidewalk!

Check out the videos of Caydence riding her bike....she finally learned how to peddle really good and was getting her self going really fast...now we are off to buy a helmet!

All Star

Caydence's new favorite sport is basketball and loves to shoot hoops...and she is really good at it! Here is a little clip I took on my phone of her this afternoon!

I know I know I know! It has been forever since I have posted anything on here....I guess I kinda forgot about it for a while. Anyway here are Caydence's 3 year pictures...Enjoy!

Lip Gloss

Busted with mommy's lip gloss!

The converstation goes like this:
Me(in kitchen): Caydence what are you doing?
Caydence(in living room): nothing Mommy!
Me: Are you in Mommy's purse?
Caydence: no.
So I go in the living room to see what she is doing...and I find her with my lip gloss...which was in my purse...so I grabbed the camera...

Me: Where did you get that?
Caydence: I don't know. I need lip stick to be Cinderella. Pretty?

Gotta love the logic of a 2 year old!

Backyard Adventures

Caydence's fashion sense is quite questionable these days. She really likes to chose her own clothes. Today she was really creative. After chosing her own outfit (you will see the questionable fashion I was talking about in these pictures!), she then decided she needed some binoculars. With a little glue and some some construction paper, Mommy managed to turn some toilet paper rolls into exactly what she wanted. She added some paint and they were absolutely perfect. Outside we went to put the binoculars to use in search of creatures and whatever else there was to discover in the backyard.

She chased and hopped after green grasshoppers, none would hold still long enough to catch!

Looking some more

Here are a few things we spotted:

1. Our yard has been infested with these unusally GINORMOUS bees, called Cicada Killer Wasps, they come in July and hunt Cicadas....and the are huge and all over the place in the morning. Supposedly they don't bother people since their only mission is to hunt Cicadas. And did I mention ....they are Really Really Gross.

2.We found a few lizards hiding...

This green one in the bushes.

and this little baby brown one, kinda blurry because it was running so fast.

All done with searching....

Happy Feet

Nothing makes you happy like paint between your toes....

After much pleading and begging to have her feet painted,

Mommy gave in and oh what a mess!

It sure was nice to hear those giggles,

as the paintbrush tickled her toes

and she saw her colorful footprints.

The mess was worth it.
